9.8.2004 Local Firm Designs San Diego Prop A Website As Seen In The Imperial Valley Press: El Centro, CA: Conveyor Group, a local design, marketing, advertising, and website development firm located in El Centro announces the launch of San Diego’s “Proposition A” website. The site, located at sdcongestionrelief.com, supports San Diego County’s transportation improvement program, and the TransNet initiative. The proposition amounts to 14 billion dollars in highway and freeway improvements, resurfacing local streets and roads, and public transportation projects throughout the County over the next 40 years. The official website was designed as a comprehensive information delivery tool to influence voters to make an informed decision. In addition to a supportive message, the site includes an easy-to-navigate user interface, interactive maps of the proposed improvements, real-time surveys, feedback forms, a live endorsements list, current news and notices, referral forms, support forms, and contribution forms. The site was completely designed, programmed, and is currently hosted at Conveyor Group’s studio in El Centro, CA. “We work as a team on all of our website projects, combining our individual skills and experience in order to discover the best solution,” stated Aaron Popejoy, Creative Director for Conveyor Group. “Client collaboration is always at the forefront of our development process.”- Conveyor Group was contracted by supporters of San Diegans for Congestion Relief and the Public Relations Firms associated with the campaign. “It’s an honor to have been selected to complete this project,” says Mr. Popejoy. “We try to balance the work we do for local clients with projects for other markets, which improves the local economy and the image of Imperial Valley,” he added. Conveyor Group is currently completing negotiations to design and build a similar website for the same initiative in Sacramento for this November’s ballot.
