Melissa is the client services manager and a media specialist for Conveyor Group. Her duties include general account management, new business development and Conveyor Group communications. She also works with the team on media planning.

An Imperial Valley native, Melissa was raised in Calipatria. Driven for further education she attended California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) after graduating from Calipatria High School. At CSULB, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Criminal Justice. She’s returning to the Valley after eight years in Long Beach, Calif.

Prior to joining Conveyor Group, Melissa held the position of Senior Account Executive at a specialty Integrated Marketing Communications firm in Los Angeles. She handled public relations for clients such as Harley-Davidson Motor Company, WellPoint and the American Cancer Society. She also worked on advertising campaigns with the American Cancer Society and Los Angeles County Department of Public Safety.
Melissa has over 6 years of experience working within the agency, nonprofit and corporate sectors. She’s handled public relations and advertising for clients nationwide. Her experience includes, media relations, community relations, corporate communications, internal communications and media planning.

A nature enthusiast, Melissa enjoys spending time outside, whether fishing with her dad or hiking with her brother she loves being outdoors. She also enjoys watching sports particularly baseball and NASCAR…bleeding Dodger Blue and always rooting for Martin Truex Jr. Melissa is also a motorcycle enthusiast. A licensed rider for two years now, she’s still working on owning her own Harley, but you’ll always see her sporting the H-D gear.
