Aaron is the founder and creative director for Conveyor Group. His duties include business development, client relations and consultation, project planning, campaign and concept development, art direction, senior level design, copywriting, videography and editing, commercial photography, staff management, media planning, and overall creative direction. Aaron is a fourth generation El Centro native whose great grandfather arrived in the Imperial Valley in 1907. Raised to be self-employed and self-dependent, Aaron is a driven and dedicated individual. His education includes a Certificate in electronics and computer repair, an Associates Degree in fine arts and design from Imperial Valley College, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in applied arts and sciences/graphic design with a minor in music and extended studies in writing, photography, and multimedia/web development from San Diego State University - main campus. Yes, Aaron was once a professional student! He also attends industry trade conferences and advertising/branding workshops on a regular basis. Aaron is a visionary leader for Conveyor Group with over 16 years of professional experience in the creative and advertising business. His positions have included being an illustrator for a silkscreening company, a freelance logo designer, an in-house marketing and graphic designer in a corporate environment, a dot-com web developer/programmer and strategist, a service bureau production artist, a designer for an advertising agency, and, the managing art director for a well-respected design firm - specializing in financial institution marketing. During his tenure with that firm, Aaron was responsible for team projects that garnered over 50 awards for excellence in design and marketing. His experience also includes producing work for large international corporations, as well as small local businesses. In his "spare time," Aaron enjoys family time, fine dining, photography, antique furniture hunting, and interior design. He is an avid fan of the Imperial Valley and takes every opportunity to promote expansion and economic development within the region.

			Aaron Popejoy is a member of Rotary International and a San Diego State University - School of Art, Design, and Art History - Alumni. Aaron is an active member of the El Centro Chamber of Commerce Membership Development Committee. He is also active in the San Diego chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). In addition, Aaron is a registered member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), with extensive "real-world" application experience and instruction of classes on the use of Adobe PhotoShop.
